    • MBNA Balance Transfer Card Gets Better With Age

    • Wine, cheese, relationships – many things get better with age. And you can now add credit card provider MBNA’s Balance Transfer credit card to that list, as it now comes with even more great features, than when it was first released last year.

Since being launched, the card has become a hit with consumers due to its market-leading 0% deals, on balance transfers (the first 16 months) and purchases (the first three months).

However, with contactless payment technology and the chance to pay off higher interest balances first (saving you on overall interest repayments), it’s now even more attractive.
The credit card application is also simple and conveniently online for you to fill out, with a quick decision on your success too.

Although there are other things to consider, such as a market-average 16.7% (typical) variable standard rate of interest for purchases and a 2.88% transfer handling fee, it’s still a pretty unbeatable package, much like its travel credit card deals.
Commenting on the card, Will Curley, product executive for Bank of America Europe Card Services, which operates under the MBNA brand in the UK, said: “Our customers tell us they are looking for better offers in the market, and that is what we are delivering”“We are constantly searching for new ways to bring more choice, simplicity and value to all that we do, including delivering a suite of products that offer real value for customers.”
