Tucked away on Bell Tower Walk, The Rectory Bar and Restaurant is an independent venue in the heart of the historic city of Chester. Situated right next to Chester Cathedral and within a stones throw of the Roman walls, we have stunning and unique views that cannot be found anywhere else in Chester. Easily reachable from the hub of Chester’s shops and main streets, the Grosvenor Precinct is only a 2 minute walk and we are within walking distance from all the tourist attractions including the Roman Amphitheatre and the Eastgate Clock.
We run a relaxed and informal atmosphere, where our friendly team will ensure you are welcomed and looked after; don’t leave the comfort of your seats, we offer full table service all day and night!
Our extensive food menu has something for everybody; we serve food from 10am till 10pm everyday. All our ingredients are sourced from local suppliers and believe in offering fresh produce to provide excellent quality dishes.
