Piste Wine Bar & Restaurant opened its doors in 2010 on Tarporley’s bustling High Street after an extensive 'Alpine chic' refurbishment of a building, the roots of which famously or infamously are set in wine, food and character. Piste is a family business headed up by James Hughes with former chef to the McLaren F1 team, Duncan Angus driving the kitchen.
Whether you’re coming down simply for homemade breads and olives at the bar, our famous 'shin of beef’, fondue with friends or indeed pulling out all the stops, we aim to provide a relaxed, cosy and informal environment with an emphasis on quality, service and value.
It is our passion to source the finest quality ingredients as locally as possible. Our team here at Piste is made up of individuals who also have a flair and passion for food, drink and all things hospitality to help you enjoy your experience with us.

We have searched throughout Great Britain for what we believe to be some of the finest ingredients available in today’s market with a particular focus on sourcing as many local ingredients as possible from right here in Cheshire.

Friday – Saturday: 12pm – 10pm
Sunday: 12pm – 3pm
