Coach House Bar & Restaurant

The Coach House Bar & Restaurant is located on Blakemere Craft Centre, set in the heart of the beautiful Cheshire countryside, yet on the junction of the A49 and A556 in Sandiway. It’s overlooked by our 19th century former stable block to Blakemere Hall, with a beautiful central cobbled courtyard. Blakemere Hall was frequently visited by King Edward VII, then the Prince of Wales, where it is claimed he enjoyed many notoriously wild parties!

Completely refurbished at the end of 2009, The Coach House offers excellent service with friendly and welcoming staff, along with a relaxed and comfortable ambiance in both the restaurant and bar where you are more than welcome to call in for a drink, we’re open late into the evening.

We serve a lunchtime carvery every day of the week between 11.30am and 2.30pm, offering hand carved joints of meat, supplied by our local butcher, served with a fantastic selection of fresh vegetables and huge Yorkshire puddings! On Sundays the carvery runs right through until 6pm, booking is recommend to avoid waiting for a table. Why not call in for a carvery then wander around the shops before you leave.

Our Bistro style menu runs alongside the carvery and is served until 8pm each evening (closes early in winter during the week). We pride ourselves on using only the freshest ingredients and source from local suppliers wherever possible – don’t miss out on trying our own ‘special recipe’ Steak Burgers, or enjoy our delicious 21 day aged Rib Eye Steak with one of our freshly made sauces! Come to us early in the evening and take advantage of our Early Bird Two Course Menu for just £10.50 per person, served between 4pm and 7pm Monday to Friday (plus our Early Doors Offer of 15% off all drinks, which runs alongside the Early Bird Menu).  We offer a Kid’s Menu and a half carvery at lunchtime for children, please ask a member of our team for daily specials.

Our superb Wine List is ‘small but beautifully formed’ and includes only the best; and you will be more than pleasantly surprised by the prices. Most wines are available by the glass or bottle.

The Coach House runs themed party night on the last Saturday of selected months, including Fun 80‘s Disco, Irish Night with live band, Casino Nights and Soul and Motown to name but a few, plus monthly live Comedy Nights - please visit our website for further details.
