La Cantina

Here at La Cantina, our aim is to bring a little taste of Italy to the heart of Chester.  We are a small family run caffetteria/bar/deli/ristorante and provide simple light homemade dishes every day.  On Thursday to Saturday evenings we provide two or three main dishes made from fresh Italian and some local ingredients.

Our offering is to provide take out to individuals calling in or preordering then picking up, also groups who require a larger take out booking which may also be delivered by prearrangement within approx  two miles  of La Cantina and in that circumstance require payment on order by card or if delivered in cash or cheque with card guarantee ( for group orders of 6 or more , the order needs to be taken at least one and a half hours before delivery).

We also offer a bespoke platter service for platters for 8-30 people, menu items to be agreed on order and generally at around £7-50 per head for a range of filled rolls and croissants,cheese and preserves with celery and biscuits, handcooked crisps, fruit, cake and including soft drinks, napkins and plastic cutlery ,( a dressed salad can be included in a plastic bowl if required as can a cold pasta dish )  but up to £9-12-00 for a more comprehensive platter including typical antipasto meat like salamis and prosciutto and or seafood like prawns, squid, Italian seafood in olive oil etc and cured Italian vegetables in best olive oil, in addition to the other items listed.

All products included are of highest quality and comprise a mix of local Cheshire produce and specialist Italian supplies.
